Below I'll go through how I began streaming and how I designed my Vtuber... Let's start at the beginning...
It took me a while to settle on a username and theme for my vtuber and stream layout. In the end I settled on incorperating my love for dinosaurs (Stegosaurus specifically!)
And my enjoyment for (sort of obscure) films for a username/theme:
Elora from the Movie Willow & Saurus from the suffix in the name of many dinosaurs = Elorasaurus
I kept a pastel fossil theme for my overlays as I felt this was pleasing to the eye but still showed enough of my personality both IRL and as a vtuber.
I started my streaming journey 31st July 2020 as a way of coping with the Pandemic, Streaming helped me as a distraction but also allowed me to work on editing skills and meet some wonderful people from all over the world (A few of which have become close friends). After the Pandemic eased I decided to keep streaming as it had allowed me to gain confidence in speaking with other socially, but as of 2023 I have taken the steps to become a Vtuber and put all my art and editing under my chosen username of:

Once settled on a theme I needed a design to use as a Vtuber. It took a while...
Something always needed changing or I felt like I could improve so I went through many different designs for the actual design and the clothing:
The first design was nice but the colours would have caused issues with Chroma keys for OBS.
The second design was bolder.
However it didn't feel right so I decided to redesign again!
I decided to stick to pastel colours and started with the clothing. Each set had the theme of dino but with a twist, and some were based off/inspired by clothing I had found online that I thought was really cute! In the end i was left with 2 designs:
In the end I went for the hoodie design for my main model the other outfits i may use in future versions! I also designed a dinosaur version for when I play dinosaur related games on the channel (Not shown here. I then decided to update these designs a bit further: I felt like I needed to stand out more so tried adding two themes (Sakura and Takoyaki):
In the end although I loved these designs I felt I had already established my design and so decided to keep these as potential designs for alternate versions for future, and instead focused on changing what I didn't like of my current design. As a result I refined my design, added bits, changed parts
Then to add the food theme and lean into my love of snacks I updated my design one last time:
